Where can I invest my money so that I could get a better returns?

Financial Institutions offer a very safe and secured return in a form of Fixed Deposit, which is 2.5% per annum currently.

But many people are diversifying their money into other areas that could give them a higher and faster returns. Its undeniable to avoid seeing more and more people nowadays going for a FAST and BIG return of their investment!

I am talking about Investment in a form of time and money. There are investments which generate its returns in a short time and some takes a longer time to acquire its benefits. And there are some that could never see the returns at all, and some loses more money in their investments.

Fixed Deposit is an investment without any risk, but it gives you a very small return. If one is looking at a higher returns of their investment, they should observe all the risk involved and be willing to participate that risks. As the saying goes "High risk, High returns".

What could we do with our money to make it work for us, instead of leaving them idle under our pillow?

Invest !!!

Take a look at these options, we have Unit Trust. We could also invest in Stocks and Shares. How about trading in Forex? We could survey and seek opinion of which is the suitable MLM business for us. How about starting a conventional business?

What are the chances or is there any guarantee that whatever that you have invested will finally give you the returns you expected ?

Come on, nobody could. I couldn't give you any kind of guarantee that you will be successful in your investment of money and time in MLM business. Or should I say, in any kind of investment ventures.

Gamble!

Is that the most appropriate word to use? Life is a gamble. We live our lives according to what we think is right.

Gamble in a calculated form is recommended rather than Gamble with our eyes closed. Gamble in business investment that gives you higher chances of success is a calculated risk investment. But gamble in a casino is a fifty fifty chance. Its human nature to try their luck in casinos. Perhaps, its greed in all of us. 

Anyway, always remember : never, never, never quit and never stop trying.

The title of this post may have two different meaning.

Let me read it again ” I didn’t think it could happen to me.”

It could be something good or extraordinary events happening to someone. Perhaps that someone achieved great wealth, or an opportunity to advance further in life, something that changes his or her life forever.

First meaning is about some unbelievable event takes place in a person’s life – Some positive outcome.

I would like to talk about the opposite. I would like to relate what I have read from a newspaper article yesterday to a real life event that has happened in my life. 

These scams usually via the internet, are targeting the internet users. Nowadays, the younger generations are the victims, mainly because of their peers and due to inexperience about such matters. 

Making money through internet investment and earn extra commission by bringing others to join the investment.

All of us are human-being with feelings. Greed is one of them and it is in everyone of us, including me.

Not too long ago, many people are involved or absorbed into this kind of internet investment scam and at that point of time, many MLM companies sales drops tremendously.

The reason is, almost all MLMers are involved. Not only these companies offer good ROI (Return Of Investment) but they also have the sponsoring mechanism in their program with interesting commissions in bringing more investors to join the program. (scam). 

Nobody to be blamed. Just be aware that money just doesn’t come that easy and neither does the trust from friends.

I would like to define Network Marketing as simple as possible, by comparing it with a Traditional Business.

This is I think the basic understanding of Network Marketing. A company distributes its products or services. What the traditional company pays for and the Network Marketing company don't, is advertising. Independent business owner market the products and services for the NM company and in return they are being compensate in a form of bonus and commission from the advertising money the company have saved.

The MLM company gets the best form of advertising, that is Word Of Mouth by a network of Independent Business Owner, or you may called is also as Independent Distributors, whom are based only on commissions.

In the distribution process, there are middlemen in the traditional business. They have their hands in the profit pie. Instead of all the pie being taken by middlemen (wholesalers, stores, retailers), the pie is being given to independent distributors in many levels in Network Marketing business.

Venturing into business requires capital and many of us know it takes huge amount of capital to start one. You might want to think about some renovations to be done to your business premises. That too cost quite a big amount of investment, don't you agree?

But in Multi Level Marketing, one may not even have to worry much about having enough capital. It takes a very minimal investment and most of us are able to make the breakeven in a short time.

One may just start the business by purchasing a business kit or we can call it starter kit. With the product descriptions, product price list, company background, marketing plan, application form, and all that is needed in that starter kit, you are able to begin building the business.  

Some companies doesn't requires for a starter kit but only to purchase their products to entitle you to be a member to begin the business.

This is the question that I often faced when I do my MLM presentation to a prospect. And my answer is always yes, we have to look for people.

If I join a MLM company and it doesn't need me to look for people to make money, then something is wrong. I don't feel at ease.

There were once I did a so call MLM company, which I don't have to look for people to join me. I can do so, but it is not a necessary. If I do bring people into the business, I will earn more. And if I don't, I will still be earning money.

I believe you will understand what I am talking about if you have experienced it before. Anyway, MLM is people helping people business and I think I can't do it alone and there must be a team working together in this kind of business.

Get Rich Quick Scheme can be simply defined as:-

Put Money – Without Working – Make Money

Put in Money means investing, could be in any amount, from RM100 to as big as, like RM100,000 and make big money, normally without working. If you do recruiting, you earn more.

The top or early birds in this program, will earn a lot and the bottom people or the people who just came in, will earn less or loose money. The company will collect the money and do the payout. After some time, they are unable to make the payout. Sooner or later, most of these companies will eventually close.

This is one of the most important question that you must ask someone who joined a MLM business or someone you are trying to recruit.

Why they join MLM? Why they decided to do MLM? What are they looking for?

You won’t be able to answer for them. You only have to listen to their real reasons. There are many reasons. You will heard different answer from different people.

Do you choose the MLM company? or the MLM company chooses you?

Some people are attracted to some benefits that the MLM company offer. Nobody join a wrong MLM company. If you just sign up in a MLM company, its alright. There are so many MLM companies in the market and choosing one can be difficult if you don’t know what to look for in a MLM company. It is true, that you have seen many people achieve great success in “A company”. You also have seen many successful people in “B company”.

Here are some of the important aspects you should look at, while making your choices. a) Company’s profile and background, b) Product, c) Marketing Plan. Choose a company that has been in operation for several years. Some company don’t last.

There is a saying that goes “He who has a why to live, can bear almost any how”.

If one really know the reason of doing MLM, than he/she will be staying long enough in this industry. The reason I am saying this is because, many people give up too soon and I felt the same way too.
But after I had gone through a deeper understanding about MLM, I am able to see a much clearer picture.

My reason for doing MLM is to achieve F.I.P.F. which stands for Financial Independence and Personal Freedom. It is not all about the money we are chasing for, in MLM business. What are we looking for besides money? The word "Direct Selling" is very commonly used when it comes to MLM. 

Many have define MLM to be also known as Direct Selling, mainly because their first encounter with these salesperson knocking from door to door to sell something.

This is understandable because most reputable MLM companies belong to the Direct Selling Association (DSA).

Many still call them "Direct Selling" until today, eventhough the method of marketing is different.

Another common misunderstanding about MLM is that you have to sell retail to be successful. MLM is not all about selling, its about building organizations.

MLM is not defined as a door to door service.
