It can continue to grow on its own

Why We Joined MLM – Steve and Linda Rhodes, Vermont

Linda is a licensed practical nurse, and before my accident, I did carpentry work. Even though I get around in a wheel-chair, there are days that I can't get out because of weather or illness.

But my organisation still makes sales, which means that I still make a profit!

What impressed me about Multi-Level Marketing was the multiplication of numbers. At certain point in the business, it can continue to grow on its own.

I would encourage others in a situation similar to mine to do MLM. It's simple to do, can make you some good money, and it doesn't have to take up a lot of time.

There are days when I need extra rest or medical attention. If I were working for someone else, this could present a problem. With MLM, my income continues as my downline organisation keeps growing.

Conventional vs MLM

MLM Overview No Comments »

I would like to make a comparison between Conventional Business and MLM Business.

Lets look at the Conventional Business and how it works.

Cost of a product from the Manufacturer is at $10.00, for example.

Wholesalers will raise up the price to $12.00, in making a profit of $2.00 for themselves.

When the product arrives in another person's hand in every countries, it will add another $2.00.

For easy calculation, we use $2.00.

In the states, they will make a profit of $2.00. Now the price of the product will become $16.00.

When it branches out to the districts, they make their share of profit.

Finally, it reaches the shop to be sold to customers.

Customers ended up paying $20.00.

On the other hand, in MLM Business, the products arrives directly to customers. All the cost in between will be given to customers who distributes and market the products to other customers.

This diagram shows a bigger picture of how the business is run between a Conventional Business and a MLM Business.

It is a Partnership Business

MLM Overview 1 Comment »

When we became an Independent Distributor of a Multi-Level Marketing company, we actually involved in a Partnership Business.

This is how it goes, The MLM company will take care of all the big infrastructure expenses, such as manufacturing, packaging, designing, quality control, warehousing, research & development, administration, accounting, employee, management, public relations, order processing, shipping, payroll and many more.

In other words, the MLM company will deal with all the headaches and major expenses.

The independent distributors will be doing all the marketing, moving the products, earns rebates and commissions on the products they use, consume and sell plus commissions on sales generated by other independent distributors they bring into the business.

Independent Distributors will have the incentives & the freedom to build huge organisation because there is no limit or capping on their income or restrictions on their territories.

As an Independent Distributor, we build our business and let the company do what they do best. Where could we find a business like this?

What car you drive?

Life, MLM Overview, People 2 Comments »

Good day everyone,

What car are you driving? Does it matter?

Perhaps, you might be asking "What does a car got to do with the MLM business you are doing?

Here is a real life example. 3 years ago, my dad introduced me to his old friend, who then became our upline in a Multi Level Marketing business. I signed up under him and my dad signed up as my downline.

I brought my upline along to see my prospects and to see how he does the product and business presentation, so that I could learn and do the business at the same time.

My dad said, he was doing quite well and his earning is about 20,000 ringgit monthly for 8 months consecutively and he started about 2 years back.

I was also informed by dad, that he was driving a simple car. Many of his friends doubted that he is successful in this business because he was only driving the cheapest car in the market.

This also happened to my prospects, when I told them he was earning 5 figure income and shown his photocopied monthly income statement.

Non of his relatives and friends believe that he is earning good income from his MLM business until he changes his car to a Mercedes Benz.

After he changes his car, his business grows tremendously and the more he do the business, the better the chances of closing the deal.

Organisation Chart

MLM Overview No Comments »

This is how my organisation chart looks like. I draw it out on my own using the back portion of an advertising card board.

I did my monitoring to see how it turn out to be and to see who are the uplines and the downlines in a form of a chart. By doing this, I will be able to see where my downlines are and how to help them in building their organisation.

It started with only 2 downlines under me and now it reaches over 400 downlines. Not a big organisation though, because I knew others  are having around 5,000 to 10,000 or some even more downlines.

.

It looks a little tedious but it is worth it. One of my downlines have gone further down, so I made an extension of  the advertising card board.

Royalty

MLM Overview No Comments »

I bought a Elvis Presley music CD quite some time ago because I like this particular song titled "A Little Less Conversation"

The King of Rock and Roll is dead now, but he still earns income of the music CDs sold everywhere worldwide! The income now goes to his family members after he is dead and gone. What I am trying to say is that, Elvis did his work once and he earns for many years to come. We called it as "Royalty Income".

Many of us are not talented singers or song writers, so how could we earn royalty income? or almost similar to that?

Network Marketing is a business that could bring you an income that is transferable to your next of kin, if you are dead and gone. By the way, there is this song, you know – "Dead and Gone" enjoy!

Word Of Mouth

MLM Overview No Comments »

Word of mouth is a powerful method of selling or delivering messages to friends and it is always works.

In Multi Level Marketing or better known as Network Marketing, Word of mouth is a form of advertising where you recommend a good product or sharing a business opportunity to your friends.

You will recommend a good movie to your friend to watch during the weekend. Perhaps you may suggest a good western food restaurant to your friend. It could be giving direction to your friend to a place for a nice cup of coffee. We are sharing and recommending almost everyday, if you look at it closely.

And, may I asked whether the movie ticket counter guy give you any free ticket for recommending friends to the movie? How about discounted price for the next coming movie? Definitely no.

What if you could be paid for recommending friends? Would that be nice? How about getting some rewards from friends who recommend his friends to purchase a product or services?
