Happy New Year 2010! to everyone.

This year, I turn 58.

I'm going to help those who believes that in order to succeed in life, he or she must work for it.

First, what is success to you? Success could mean anything to each individual. To me, success is having the freedom to do what you like to do and the money to enjoy the things you do.

We have only 24 hours, 8 hours sleep, 8 hours of work, and what do you do with the other 8 hours? I'm going to share with you what I did with the 8 hours, since the day I started my working life and I hope you can benefit from it.

I'm also inviting you to share your experiences, so that we can learn from each other. I like to leave a quotation each time I post in here. Thank you.

When someone mentioned the word "Bata", the first thing that comes to our mind is, it is a shoe! A well known shoe Brand. 

Here is a story my dad used to tell during his MLM presentation. This is how is goes…

Once upon a time, there was this Manager of a Shoe Factory asking 2 guys to go to Africa to sell shoes. All costs of the trip and accomodations will be paid, so off they go for two days to Africa.

The first guy came back, and told the boss " African don't wear shoes!!!". Boss, "we can't sell shoes to them

because they don't wear shoes."

The second guy came back and told the boss "African don't wear shoes!!!", Boss "quickly sent a trailer of shoes over there

because they don't wear shoes."

Same situation but 2 different outcome from both guys.

Today, the people in Africa wear shoes, all kinds, like Nike, Reebok, etc…

The first guy was looking at the negative side of things and the second guy was looking at it, on the positive side.

This is the car my dad was driving back then, Mazda 808, before he achieved his Car Program in his Shaklee Business.

The Car Program or some may named it, Car Fund was not offered by all MLM companies. Some of the MLM Companies, to name a few, such as, Shaklee, Century Diamond, Nutrimetics, Tiens, Zhulian are those companies offering Car Fund as part of their incentives in their Marketing Plans.

This was the car, Proton Saga 1.3 Megavalve, which my dad achieved in his Shaklee Car Program in year 1991. Many of his downlines achieved their Car Program too and their car registration plates are mixtures of these numbers 1,2,3, and 8. 

Today, car dealers are taking in old cars for scraping purpose and we decided to take that opportunity and change to a new car. Thank you for serving us for 18 years and yesterday we let it go!

Welcome to a new member of the family, here is, Perodua Myvi. For your info, this is not a Car Program,ok. My younger bro had his Myvi very much earlier. 

Some MLM companies giving cars for free when you hit a certain target set by the company. What you have to do is just get into the car and drive. Some companies will be paying for your car instalments when you achieve a certain group sales according to the Marketing Plan. If you don't achieve that group sales for that particular month, then you will have to pay it yourself. There are companies that offers different cars for different level of sales target achieved. Most of the cars offered by MLM companies are luxurious, such as Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry.

I was invited by my friend to attend a Testimonial Talk by Dr. Okimi from Japan on Health.

Surprisingly, Dr. spoke very well English, Mandarin and he's Bahasa is not bad at all. He's got that sense of humour during the 3 hour talk and I enjoyed it. He said Prevention is Better Than Cure, which many would agree but do nothing with it. Health or personal well being is all about the food that we consume everyday, the lifestyle, and the environment that makes us who we are today.

I was impressed on the explanation on the video of a comparison of a clean colon and a dirty colon. We saw the inside of the colon. It was disgusting.

I think I got the permission to capture this beautiful staff photo to put into my blog. This is the range of Wellness Concept products. After the talk, we had a light refreshments and I tried the BarleyGreen drink. I am the only one who ask and tried the drink. Its not sweet nor bitter, but its easy to drink.

The heading "RM31 Million Return" on the front page of the newspapers caught my attention!

Investors of the Get Rich Quick Scheme Swisscash who lost their investment will get some of their money. Security Commission (SC) managed to solve the scam involving RM31 Million and those who entitled for the returns will have to fulfill certain conditions including the proof as a principal investor and not involving any recruitment of other investors.

There are about 3,000 investors lodged reports and claimed their lost is because of their involvement in the internet investment scheme.

About 80% of the victims are male professionals.

Swisscash Internet Investment scheme was banned by the government and its website was closed in 2007.

This evening, met a new friend who showed to me his MLM business. He did a short presentation to me on Amway. He emphasized on shifting or change the way you shop from supermarket to shopping with Amway. At the same time you are building a network of consumers and building your MLM business with 10 types of income in 1 business, in Amway Marketing Plan.

The above blue magazine, is the latest Amway Amagram for month December 2009, with the front page of their new HQ in Petaling Jaya.

Cosway has been around for more than 20 years and it was one of my first MLM company I joined when I began my working life. My parents have tried to apply for a stockist way back then, but unfortunately they failed. You know, my dad, he doesn't gives up in MLM that easily. He moved on.

Today, Cosway is offering the similar opportunity to own a business of your own. I asked around, emailed and also put up posts on my blog to look for someone who wanted to join venture with me in starting a cosway stockist. One of the criteria is the applicant must be female age between 25 -44 years old. But until today, I couldn't get anyone who is interested.

A couple of week ago, my friend was asking me about the cosway opportunity. She took the opportunity and she is going for the interview and I wish her all the best.

Two days back, another old friend of mine, didn't meet her for quite a while, also talking about cosway business to me. She is going to start her journey in Network Marketing which she has never done before. She told me "I am going to start networking"

I said "That's GREAT!"

I think with the help of her brother, who has a wide network, it shouldn't be a problem for her. I wish her all the best and encourage her to start immediately.

There is no way, you won't meet with an accident on the road when you are driving or riding a bike. It's either you hits someone or someone hits your beautiful new car.

Similar to Network Marketing. Sometimes you got involved in NM and you got a very bad experience, and you promise yourself not to get involve in any kind of NM business anymore in your life. You have changed and close your mind totally whenever any business is related to NM.

In 2006, you can see many people in the coffee shops with notebooks explaining to their friends about doing some investment through the internet. We could name it as an Internet Investment with very high returns.

People are looking for fast returns and without a doubt many turn to this kind of investment promising daily interest. Moreover with the help of so called "investment agents", mostly comes from MLM background, the news spread even faster. The daily interest depends on the amount invested. The bigger amount you invest, the higher percentage of returns.

The above print out shows the statement and as you can see, the "Earning" is the daily interest of 1% paid from Monday to Friday, No interest for Saturdays and Sundays.

There are also commission paid for every investor you refer to join this program. This is where the MLM people comes into picture.

The websites providing this HYIP (High Yield Investment Program) is called piclub.us and forexcapital.us to name some. There are many others appearing like mushrooms out of nowhere. Internet Investment was extremely a hot topic and this phenomenon disturbed the growth of many MLM companies.

Today, the government has put a stop to this schemes.

When this concept came into the market, my first impression was "Why didn't I think of that? -  Cafe doing MLM " There are no products involved but only services.

Its a unique way to bring crowd to dine in to the restaurant and the customers will keep on coming back, for they are given food voucher monthly, when they join as a member. (or some called it as a shareholder) The initial investment was quite big but it changes as time goes by, to capture the other group of people. They will earn commissions whenever they introduce other friends to join as member of the cafe.

Many people have different perception of Island Red Cafe today. There are both mixture of good and bad experience.

Island Red Cafe marketing plan can show residual income potential. I know there are people earning this income, but it has to also balance up with the proper handling of the company. The people behind the show is important to make this cafe a success. 

I joined as a shareholder but I didn't bring anyone to join in. I took the risk myself. When things go wrong in any business, the person whom you introduced will normally blame you. This things happened. We hope the management will do something for the benefit of the members.
