A couple of year back, Al-Rajhi Bank introduce its (AFF) Al-Rajhi Friends and Family program with this diagram at the back of their product brochure. A Bank doing MLM. I was surprised to know about it from my dad.

The products are Car Financing, Housing Financing and Personal Financing.

First is childhood life : 1 to 6 yrs old, (growing)
Second is schooling life: 7 to 20 yrs plus,(learning)
Third is working life: 20 to 60 yrs plus,( wealth creation)
Fourth is twilight life: Too weak to walk and need someone to assist you.

Do you realise that we spent most of our lifes in creating wealth. In creating wealth , we either work for a private company or the government.  To truly create wealth you should not be working for anybody for a salary. As long as you are paid a salary , your income has a limit.  To create wealth  you should do your own business.

The best business to do is MLM.  Donald Trump says if he had to start all over again , he would choose to start MLM business.

But if  you want  to choose the right MLM company you don't  ask Donald Trump. You ask ME. The only difference is he has the money , I have the knowledge.

We had a workshop recently. One of the activities is to write about others. Each of us were given a big piece of paper to be placed at the back of us and we were are given a marker pen to write about the good points of our office friends.

The photo above shows all about the lady. She is "peramah" (Talkative or Approachable), Hardworking, Helpful, Good Leader, Teamwork, a Thoughtful Person, etc.

After about 20 minutes of music and the fun going around writing on as much as possible about our office staff, it's time to get back to our seats and look at what our friends wrote about us.

How does these words make you feel? These words really make you feel good.

Whether you know it or not, these positive words either make you realize about the good things that you possessed or make you change the way you look at others. (that is to look at others in a positive way – Look at the good side)

Today, I went to a health talk. I was invited for the talk and this is what we called "Seminar Selling". It was held in a hotel. The venue represent the formality of the occasion. When a meeting or a talk held in a hotel, it's formal. It also depends on the way the presenter or speaker dresses, whether casual or in a tie, long sleeves and coat.

I felt at ease and comfortable the moment I arrived at the receptionist table to register my name before entering the hall, mainly because they are all in casual (T-shirts) and jeans.

One of the purpose of Seminar Selling is to convey the information to everyone at one go, instead of distributors doing a one on one presentation to a prospect.

This Seminar also support its distributors to invite their prospects to listen to the talk. Its either the company employs its marketing people to be the speaker or at times, it is initiated by a group of distributors (leaders) to conduct the seminar.

This kind of seminar will help those who are not only new in the business but those who feels that they are unable to speak very well about the business, to invite their prospect to listen to the speaker to talk on their behalf.

This photo reminds me of those days when we were in Indonesia building our MLM business. Most of our downlines are youngsters and they are very attentive and showing the eagerness to learn to start the business of their own.

We travelled on motorbikes that night to a village to see a prospect. I can still recall. There are about 8 bikes all together, all young people. We showed the presentation to their prospects as they look on and learn to duplicate. We also emphasize on how teamwork is very important in this business.

Today, almost the end of January 2010, I just bought myself a diary. I haven't plan anything for this year. Perhaps, I was too busy doing something else and didn't locate time for myself. Perhaps, I'm making an excuse for myself. Some may also say that I might not even make my new year's resolutions. I actually have them in my mind, but I haven't put it down on paper.

Anyone who also has something to change in their life and its a new year 2010 and new year brings new commitment, something one wants to change to be better than the year before. Anyone can get out of their normal routine and improve at any time one likes. It doesn't have to be a new year to start a new lifestyle.

Now, I'm putting them down on paper, not any piece of paper, it has to be reviewed everyday, the moment I wake up in the morning and at night, before going to bed. I choose a Diary to put down my goals and resolutions for the year.

After work today and it is Saturday, I just pop into Popular Bookstore and this is the only type of diary left in the shelves. The good diary or the better one are all sold out! Not to waste anymore time, I just grasp it and move to the counter. It's a simple looking Diary, not too big, just nice and it's only RM7.95

There is one saying, " People Don't Plan To Fail, But They Fail To Plan."

The BEST MLM plan will have these  criteria mentioned below:

1. Make sure the company doesn't sell "lots" or "centers"

2.Any commisions earned MUST be paid ON THE SPOT, IN CASH, daily.

3.They must have a small monthly maintenance which is below Rm20.00

4.They have a trial period of 90 days.

5.A REAL TIME, 24 hours. world wide.

6.They must SHOW PROOF  for whatever they tell you.

7. NEVER BELIEVE when they  say the company IS GOING TO….blah..blah..blah…

8. NEVER choose a " Breakaway System"

The first impression is always the image that you show to your new prospect. Punctuality is one of the most important criteria. Please be there on time, and if you are staying far, you should leave your house early to reach your destination on time to see your prospect. Be clear by being transparent about the purpose of the appointment.

If you were invited by your friend for a drink out of a sudden, there is something he/she wanted to show you. No matter what it may be, some people just don't want to reveal what MLM company they are representing.

Recently, my friend tried to make an appointment with me for his business presentation. He won't tell me what company and what kind of product/services he is dealing with. He insisted me to meet at a certain place and then go to their office. He said " he wanted to show me the office ". I tried to negotiate with him to meet somewhere nearer and more convenient for me because I 'm bringing a friend along with me for that appointment.

When one feel uneasy about the appointment arrangement, one may not go for it.

This year, I turn 58.

I'm going to help those who believes that in order to succeed in life, he or she must work for it.

First, what is success to you? Success could mean anything to each individual. To me, success is having the freedom to do what you like to do and the money to enjoy the things you do.

We have only 24 hours, 8 hours sleep, 8 hours of work, and what do you do with the other 8 hours? I'm going to share with you what I did with the 8 hours, since the day I started my working life and I hope you can benefit from it.
