Mr.Security, Mr.Recognition & Mr.Achiever

People, Personal Development No Comments »

Let’s talk about people.

When it comes to this topic, most of us call it gossiping. Its a norm. Nevertheless, it is important to know too.

You know your friends very well. No doubt about it. Before doing your presentation to your friend / prospect or sometimes, while you are doing your presentation to share your MLM business, you will notice very clearly the type of person you are talking to by the way they present themselves, their responses.

MLM people will be able to notice whether their prospect can be named as Mr. Security, Mr.Recognition or Mr. Achiever or combination of some of those personalities.

You can observe from the way they speak, the lifestyle they lead and their perception about business.

Let’s see a few of the characteristic of :

Mr. Security

- scare of losing their job, feeling of contentment, loyal to their job, in a comfort zone, not used to doing business, never try any venture, give up early and never want to try anymore, hold on tight to their job, work in the office is their priority, don’t want any headache, heartache to manage business, etc…

Mr. Recognition

- want to be well known by many people, want to be famous, glamourous, status is important (can see from name in their call cards), no financial gain is alright for these guys as long as they got the name, they want to be the center of attraction, etc…

Mr. Achiever

- they have goals to strive, if they are not known to many, it doesn’t matter at all, focus and self-driven, dare to take calculated risk, taking chances, look for opportunities and act, etc

Nothing is good or bad about these people. They are who they are. You and I can’t change that. It will be insane.

But, one thing is for sure, people can improve.

They are Mr.Security and after a few years, you are surprised to know that they have become Mr. Achiever.

What car you drive?

Life, People 2 Comments »

Good day everyone,

What car are you driving? Does it matter?

Perhaps, you might be asking "What does a car got to do with the MLM business you are doing?

Here is a real life example. 3 years ago, my dad introduced me to his old friend, who then became our upline in a Multi Level Marketing business. I signed up under him and my dad signed up as my downline.

I brought my upline along to see my prospects and to see how he does the product and business presentation, so that I could learn and do the business at the same time.

My dad said, he was doing quite well and his earning is about 20,000 ringgit monthly for 8 months consecutively and he started about 2 years back.

I was also informed by dad, that he was driving a simple car. Many of his friends doubted that he is successful in this business because he was only driving the cheapest car in the market.

This also happened to my prospects, when I told them he was earning 5 figure income and shown his photocopied monthly income statement.

Non of his relatives and friends believe that he is earning good income from his MLM business until he changes his car to a Mercedes Benz.

After he changes his car, his business grows tremendously and the more he do the business, the better the chances of closing the deal.

Perspective of MLM

People No Comments »

There are so much that has happened in the MLM industry until today. One thing is for sure, we learn and grow through our past experience, from how the company operates to how they interact with their distributors. Its all about the people running the show.

In fact, MLM is a wonderful industry, if we could just spend some time doing some homework and look closely into it.

Perspective is an art on how you look at things in life. Not only in MLM but also in everything in life. It is how we could judge and make proper consideration to every problems and situations.

In other words, learn the truth and face facts and not only to absorb totally from people who just wants to fulfilled their own needs.

I believe many will be able to make informed decision by searching and keeping informed through readings and looking for information, talking to people who are fully involved in MLM.

Different people have different perception of MLM. One of my colleague said that its selling “dreams” to people.

Here are some of peoples’ perception towards MLM:

- You have to keep on selling to earn money
- You have to spend a lot of time to do the business
- MLM people have no time for their family and friends
- MLM is for housewives, school dropouts
- This business is for the jobless
- MLM is not a business, start a real business!

Do I have to look for people?

FAQ, People No Comments »

This is the question that I often faced when I do my MLM presentation to a prospect. And my answer is always yes, we have to look for people.

If I join a MLM company and it doesn’t need me to look for people to make money, then something is wrong. I don’t feel at ease.

There were once I did a so call MLM company, which I don’t have to look for people to join me. I can do so, but it is not a necessary. If I do bring people into the business, I will earn more. And if I don’t, I will still be earning money.

I believe you will understand what I am talking about if you have experienced it before. Anyway, MLM is people helping people business and I think I can’t do it alone and there must be a team working together in this kind of business.

Don’t Be Surprise!

People 2 Comments »

I always remind myself not to be surprised if I happen to meet with friends, relatives and neighbours who shows their enthusiasm to talk to me about MLM.

Don’t be surprise if someone whom you know very well, come to see you on MLM business too. I personally have seen many of this situation happened. My neighbour just started her MLM journey. My relative consumed a MLM product and tried to sell to me. Hey, I bought the product! My ex-collegue who has just retired join a MLM company and came to the office to see us. All this scenarios gave me more encouragement to see more people and share about my MLM business.

Don’t be surprise, if your son came back from his studies and became a member of a MLM company. This may happen.

High Tech and High Touch

People No Comments »

I believe in both, since we are living in an Information Age, the Internet has become a necessity to each of us.

There are MLM online and MLM offline, but most of the results come from 95% offline and 5% online, because I think it takes eye to eye and belly to belly to make it work effectively. I think we need to see our downlines personally. I feel that we need to give them the confidence that we are there whenever they need our help.

MLM is about human touch, it is a People Business.

I tried to see how MLM is going to work 100% online. Perhaps, I have not discover it yet. Or may be it takes much longer to make it work online than offline.
