The day after I met Joshua, I went to see my neighbour at the back of my house about "sharing interesting events".

"Sharing interesting events " – is what I read in my SMS inbox a week ago. Both of us were in the same MLM business at one time. Adjusting my schedule to meet him, we are just trying to catch up with each other.

Looks like I was busy the whole weekend, trying to keep up with what is going on in the current MLM market.

Mr. Fabian was invited to attend MLM presentation by two different companies and he shared his personal experience about how those company does their presentations.

One similarity about Joshua and Fabian,is that both of them wanted me to start first with my MLM business, then they start to share theirs.

No product talk and No marketing plan talk. At the end of the day, Mr. Fabian just showed to me the brochures and flyers from the two companies that he attended.

The graph shows the comparison of income for those who are employed and those who are in business, especially in MLM.

If u are paid a salary, you are working for somebody. No matter how much is your income, there will be a maximum pay each month. I would like to named it a "Ceiling", above you. Since the day you started working, you will enjoy yearly increment and once you reach the maximum (Ceiling), your income stops there until you retire. Upon retirement, you got no pay, or for some sector, you got half pay. The moment you stop working, your income stops.

What do you do after retirement? Some may still have to look for a job. You have no future.

Inflation is always going up.

If the job that you are doing is for your own and you are not paid a salary, that job may have a future.

You are actually working for yourself and you determine your own income. Becoming your own boss and being in business is the way to create your own destiny. And as for the income, the sky’s the limit.

There are people who work for a month and get paid for many months to come. This is one of the benefits of MLM. 

MLM income can grow quickly, in a short period of time because of the multiplication effect.

What can  I say about Inflation? I think its always goes up in price.

Do you know it is only 10 cents for a glass of Teh Tarik, those days and now its 80 cents or 1 ringgit! One plate of  simple “Mee Goreng”  is only 20 cents.

I used to eat this Roti Koko, as far as I remember, if I’m not wrong, it has the same plastic design cover and same bread size. It comes in different colour too, brown for Coco, green plastic cover design for pandan flavour, red for cream, etc… by the way, How much is it last time? Anyone can recall having this bread?

I just couldn’t believe it until I asked some elderly people, including my grandpa.

How about a motorbike? What about the price of a car? or a house?

How much does all these cost now?

If the Teh Tarik goes up to 8 times, then our salary at RM1,000 should become RM8,000, right? Unfortunately not!

In short, you and I just have to live with it! We can’t do anything about it!

When it comes to work, I can summerised it to three categories, that is :

we either work for the Private, Government or on our Own, which is doing business of our own.

Both private and government job provide us the wages at the end of every month.  

I am getting the monthly wages category, at the moment, and I drive to work everyday, using the same route, watching the same cars  passing by and at times, I tried to drive different way to get to my office for a change. It get bored.

In the other hand, owning our own business requires us to create our own income for ourselves. These business people will have to figure out and crack their mind to find a way where the money is coming from, no matter its a big or small business, as small as setting up a simple stall at the five foot way.

Resolution being made beginning of a New Year. It's always this case, and it's not necessary this way.

One could make their resolution at any given time, when they think it's time to make that change or make that commitment to accomplish their goals in life, or to better themselves.

New Year Resolution for some could be losing weight, learn a new language, earn more money, take up yoga classes, which had been put off for so long.

For some, it could be spending more time with their family and loved ones.

For those who wanted to join a Multi-Level Marketing company, this year is the perfect time to start. The question to ask before joining one is "What to look for in a Multi-Level Marketing company?"

And for those who are already in a Multi-Level Marketing business, it is time to sit down with your downlines, if you haven't, and make a resolution together.

Everyone wants this year to be better than the previous year.

That is what resolution is all about, making changes and learn from our mistakes and errors in life.
