I would like to define Network Marketing as simple as possible, by comparing it with a Traditional Business.

This is I think the basic understanding of Network Marketing. A company distributes its products or services. What the traditional company pays for and the Network Marketing company don’t, is advertising. Independent business owner market the products and services for the NM company and in return they are being compensate in a form of bonus and commission from the advertising money the company have saved.

The MLM company gets the best form of advertising, that is Word Of Mouth by a network of Independent Business Owner, or you may called is also as Independent Distributors, whom are based only on commissions.

In the distribution process, there are middlemen in the traditional business. They have their hands in the profit pie. Instead of all the pie being taken by middlemen (wholesalers, stores, retailers), the pie is being given to independent distributors in many levels in Network Marketing business.

You are sitting and playing with your grandchildren one evening. And one of them ask, out of curiocity "Hey, grandpa or grandma, How was your life when you were young? " what did you do?  what is your advice to us? Yah, yah tell us your adventure? ask another.

I think these are some of the questions from our younger generation.

Have you ever wonder how are you going to tell your story to your grandchildren if they ask you about what you did when you are young?

It would be interesting to tell your side of life story to your grandchildren who are very eager to listen. It doesn’t matter whether you have succeeded in that venture, but the most important thing is that you have done so much in life and you have got something to pass down to them. 

Imagine that you have not done anything and you wish you have done it. That will be the regret of your life.

I did so much so far and I am going to do more.

What do we expect by the end of each month as an employee? Nothing but salary.

Here are some of our lifestyle,

From 1st  to 31st of the month : -

1) Some may have extra income by the end of the month, after paying off their debts and all the necessary needs. 

2) Some may just having enough money for the month.

3) Some might just finish their money in the middle of the month.

And

4) Some perhaps use up their salary for the month to pay up their last month debts. 

Many of us including me counting the days left to get our salary. When it comes to salary day, I can see many happy and smiling faces. When it reaches the middle of the month, many try to cut down expenses and looking forward for the next payday.

What can  I say about Inflation? I think its always goes up in price. Do you know it is only 10 cents for a glass of Teh Tarik, those days and now its 80 cents or 1 ringgit! One plate of  simple "Mee Goreng"  is only 20 cents. I just couldn’t believe it until I asked some elderly people, including my grandpa.

How about a motorbike? What about the price of a car? or a house?

How much does all these cost now?

If the Teh Tarik goes up to 8 times, then our salary at RM1,000 should become RM8,000, right? Unfortunately not!

In short, you and I just have to live with it! We can’t do anything about it! That’s Inflation!

Word of mouth is a powerful method of selling or delivering messages to friends and it is always works.

In Multi Level Marketing or better known as Network Marketing, Word of mouth is a form of advertising where you recommend a good product or sharing a business opportunity to your friends. 

You will recommend a good movie to your friend to watch during the weekend. Perhaps you may suggest a good western food restaurant to your friend. It could be giving direction to your friend to a place for a nice cup of coffee. We are sharing and recommending almost everyday, if you look at it closely.

And, may I asked whether the movie ticket counter guy give you any free ticket for recommending friends to the movie? How about discounted price for the next coming movie? Definitely no.

What if you could be paid for recommending friends? Would that be nice? How about getting some rewards from friends who recommend his friends to purchase a product or services?
